Changes to bus routes at Addenbroke's

Changes to bus routes at Addenbroke's

  By: jw35 on April 30, 2019, 9:53 a.m.

On Monday 29 April, Stagecoach's Busway A and Busway D services were rerouted at Addenbrooke's Hospital. Unfortunately these changes haven't made it to the Traveline National Dataset from which we derive timetables and routes for our various web pages and the SmartPanels, so we are currently showing some incorrect timetable and route information.

These two services no longer use Francis Crick Avenue or Dame Mary Archer Way, and so don't serve the stops on those roads. Instead they use a new section of the busway that runs between the new Royal Papworth Hospital and the AstraZeneca development and serve new bus stops outside the Royal Papworth and existing stops outside the Rosie Maternity Hospital. Other services, such as Citi 7, Route R, Service H and the Universal are unaffected.

We are doing what we can to get the central timetables updated.

Stagecoach's announcement is here, and looks like this:

The situation at Addenbroke's is now complicated by a failure of the bollards on the road outside the Royal Papworth. Stagecoach's Service Announcement is here (and there's a copy below) so it looks as if the services have reverted to the old route.

Which is ironic, given that the original change now seems to partially appears in the national database.
